Located in Port Melbourne, the National Headquarters showroom required a complete reconfiguration of internal space to meet the client brief for "separate but connected" areas between the showroom, board room, warehouse storage and office areas. The ability to have working displays of their most popular products in-situ, was also a priority.
The design centres around the use of a vertical living wall, opposite the entry, which creates a big first impression that aligns with the companies "green" ethos. The central island bench, located in front of the green wall, is a multifunctional space that is used both as a table to meet with clients and as a working display for the Stiebel under bench heating units, water filtration units and taps. It also acts as a bar for company functions with built in bench seats either side of the green wall providing additional seating as required. A bathroom and laundry area were created to display underfloor heating and narrow instantaneous heating units installed in mirrored shaving cabinets. A large concealed sliding door closes off the boardroom when required.
The showroom is now modern, fresh, functional and aesthetically pleasing.
